Though my primary focus was on being a performer, and my decades-long professional acting career spanned Broadway, film, and television, my curiosity about all facets of the business led to producing, directing, teaching, and non-profit leadership, where I was tasked with turning around two struggling non-profit theatre companies. My dedication to creating better-functioning organizations arose from observations I made from years of working in the field and also from serving for 18 years as a union leader; negotiating contracts, creating policy and addressing the needs of 51,000 members with a disparate variety of priorities. Jumping off (figurative) cliffs and problem-solving were essential parts of what made me tick.

I’ve produced over 40 plays and musicals, from world premieres to beloved revivals, working alongside esteemed artists such as Bebe Neuwirth, Adrienne Warren, Billy Porter, Kathleen Turner, Jason Alexander, Sandy Duncan, Jay Sandrich, Terrence Mann, Carrie Underwood, Duncan Sheik & Steven Sater, Burt Bacharach, Lillias White, and Kelli O’Hara.
